Riley was our first Vizsla which made him so special to us. With out him, Rajki Vizslas's would have never come to pass. From the beginning he had a zest for life and a sweetness that was just so endearing. We knew nothing of showing or hunting when we got him, but when we decided to give it a try, he excelled at everything. As he aged he acted like he was perpetually 3 years old, always bouncing around full of life, energy, curiosity, and enthusiasm. Kissing and cuddling, chasing birds, squirrels and lizards were his favorite things to do.
He unexpectedly got ill from kidney Cancer at the age of 9. Although you are never prepared for the loss of a pet, we thought we would have at least a few more years with him and the unexpected news we took hard. He became very ill within a week and there was nothing we could do but send him to the rainbow bridge and relieve his suffering. He was put to sleep out side underneath the trees where he felt most comfortable in the arms of his mom and dad who loved him very much. He spent almost a decade by our side and we will always miss him terribly. His memory will live on in his 11 children and in every heart he touched. We sincerely thank his breeders, Art and Norma Muller for giving us Riley and allowing him to be part of our lives. It was Norma who sent me the following quote:

.......... We know I will see you again one day Riley, your essence will remain in our heart forever. I wish we had more time together. We will always love you.
